Bloody revenge
Cops say they finally arrested a suspect in a Graham Avenue bodega burglary and automated teller machine theft in January after matching blood found at the scene.
According to the district attorney’s office, the man broke into the convenient store between Boerum and Seigel streets sometime between 11 pm on Jan. 19 and 7:50 am on Jan. 20.
The owner of the building told police that he had secured the basement door before he left that night, and when he got back in the morning, the basement door was ripped open, the cash machine was smashed, and $8,000 in cash was gone.
Cops say eventually tracked the man down when they matched his blood to drops left on the smashed machine.
The man was charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, and criminal process.

A man was arrested for breaking into an ice cream truck and stealing the operator’s property on Ten Eyck Street on Oct. 19.
According to the district attorney’s office, the man broke into the frozen treat truck that was parked between Waterbury Street and Morgan Avenue at 11:35 am and stole a bag that contained $550 cash, a gold chain, a gold braclet, credit cards, and the operator’s licenses.
The man was charged with burglary, grand larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, petit larceny, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
