Diner theft
A woman was arrested for allegedly stealing cash and personal property from a Grand Street diner employee on July 30.
The victim told police that the woman stole $25 from her while she was at the eatery between Graham Avenue and Humboldt Street at 2:15 am.
The 54-year-old woman was charged with petit larceny and fifth-degree criminal possession of stolen property.
Anger management
A woman was arrested for allegedly throwing kitchen knives at her friend and smashing her property in her McKibbin Street apartment on July 29.
The victim told police that she got into an argument with her friend in her pad between Bushwick Avenue and White Street at 6 pm and the friend freaked out and started throwing kitchen knives at her. The angry friend then flipped over the victim’s desk, smashing her television, digital cameras, glass figurines, and other property, cops reported.
The 22-year-old woman was charged with menacing, criminal mischief and criminal possession of a weapon.
Street robbery
A man was arrested for allegedly robbing a guy on the on Humboldt Street on July 29.
The victim told police that he was walking between Debevoise and Varet streets at 6 am when the defendant and another guy put a gun in his face.
“Give me your phone,” the man allegedly said.
The victim handed over his cellphone and headphones and the pair ran off, according to cops.
The 22-year-old man was charged with first, second and third-degree robbery, grand larceny, menancing, petit larceny, criminal possession of stolen property, menancing and harassment.
