Whiz kid
An alleged thief urinated on a police department computer after being arrested for stealing from a drug store on Manhattan Avenue on Feb. 26, cops claim.
A police officer from the 94th precinct told the manager of the drugstore between Norman and Meserole avenues that she saw the man steal more than $1,000 worth of beauty products from the shelves at 9:17 am.
The officer arrested him, and after she locked him in a cell in the precinct, he managed to urinate on a nearby NYPD computer, destroying it, according to investigators.
Nine-millimeter robbery
A robber put a Glock in the face of a man walking on West Street on Feb. 26 — and ran off with his property.
The man told police that he was near Huron Street at 6:30 pm when he suddenly saw a gun in his face.
“Give me everything,” the gun-toting gangster told him.
The victim handed over his wallet, cellphone, debit card, and driver’s license.
Factory steal
Police arrested a brash man who they say walked in through the front door of a factory on Manhattan Avenue on Feb. 20 and walked out with an expensive package.
A worker told police he saw the suspect enter the industrial building between Commercial Street and Newtown Creek at 5:10 pm. The man grabbed a package and walked out, the worker said. He allegedly opened the package in the middle of the block and threw the wrapping into a dumpster.
Police went to the home of the 26-year-old suspect and found the stolen property — which police did not identify — in his pocket, officials reported. He was charged with burglary.
Cheesy burglar
A burglar broke into a macaroni-and-cheese restaurant on Norman Avenue and stole money out of the register on Feb. 22.
The store manager noticed the theft at the establishment between Manhattan Avenue and Lorimer Street when he came in to open up at 11 am. The manager found the deadbolt unlocked and the cash register open with $700 missing.
Cash money robbery
A pair of thieves stole a bag filled with $8,000 from the owner of ATMs on Bedford Avenue as he replenished them with money on Feb. 6.
The victim told police that he was between N. Fourth and N. Fifth streets at 1:30 pm when he saw two men walk up to his car, smash the back passenger-side window, and steal the bag.
The victim told police the same thing happened to them in the same area about three months ago. A surveillance camera at a nearby business caught video of the crooks taking the bag, but police have made no arrests.
