iPhone swiped
Two teenagers were arrested for stealing a woman’s iPhone at the High Street subway station on Jan. 10, cops said.
The victim told cops she was waiting for a Manhattan-bound C train at the station near Red Cross Place at 4:50 pm when the teens grabbed her device.
Police arrested two teens who they said had her phone later that day.
No salvation
A heartless crook stole a purse from the Atlantic Avenue Salvation Army on Jan. 13.
The victim told police she left the bag unattended inside of the thrift shop, between Bond and Nevins streets, at 2:50 pm. When she returned to retrieve it one hour later, the purse was missing.
Jacket jacked
Two thieves were arrested for stealing a man’s jacket at the Jay Street subway station on Jan. 14, police said.
The straphanger said he was riding a Carroll Gardens-bound F train at midnight when the men approached him as the train pulled into the Jay Street station. One of them said, “Give me your jacket, don’t make a scene or I will shoot you.”
The thug didn’t display a gun, but the man handed his coat over anyway and got off the train. Police arrested two men — who they said had the jacket — 45 minutes later.
Heating up
A thief stole two heaters and a generator from an Atlantic Avenue parking garage sometime between Jan. 7 and Jan. 9.
The owner of the garage, between Boerum Place and Smith Street, said he left the business at 7 am on Jan. 7. When he returned 48 hours later, the security gate was broken and the items were missing.
Boutique booty
Crooks stole clothes from a Smith Street boutique on Jan. 12.
An employee at the store, between Bergen and Dean streets, said the shop’s alarm went off at 3:40 pm, when the thieves rushed out with $1,300 worth of merchandise.
Purses galore
A thief stole five purses from a rehab center on Jay Street on Jan. 9.
Five women said they left the purses in a room at the center, between Water and Plymouth streets, at 9 am. When they returned at 1:30 pm, the bags were gone.
Bump-n-run
A thief stole a woman’s credit card at a Court Street deli on Jan. 9.
The victim said she was entering the bodega between Remsen and Montague streets at 9:30 am when a man bumped into her and walked off. The woman checked her pocketbook, and realized her credit card was missing.
