Some baddie stole a guy’s scooter parked on Pierrepont Street overnight on July 29, police said.
The victim told cops he had parked his 2015 scooter near Henry Street at about 4 pm, and when he got back from work and picked it up the next day at about 7 pm, it was gone, according to authorities.
What a demon!
A thief swiped a woman’s diamond necklace from inside her car parked in a Bridge Street garage on July 30, police said.
The 26-year-old victim told police she left her diamond angel necklace in a cup holder in her car to go to work, and that her boyfriend had taken the car that day to drive to his work at about 8 am.
The victim’s boyfriend parked the car inside the lot near Willoughby Street and when he left work and went to pick up his girlfriend at about 5 pm, she saw the expensive jewelry was gone, according to authorities.
Bike bandit
Some punk rode off with a guy’s electric bike parked on Clinton Street on July 31, police said.
The 50-year-old victim told police he locked his motorized two-wheeler up to scaffolding at Cadman Plaza West a little before 8 am, and when he returned about an hour-and-a-half later, it was gone, along with the lock, according to authorities.
Bag snatcher
A good-for-nothing stole a woman’s purse on York Street on July 29, police said.
The 34-year-old told cops she was riding a bike towards Brooklyn Bridge Park at about 7 pm when she realized her dropped her bag with her phone, keys, wallet, and debit card inside it near Gold Street. The victim cancelled her debit card, but her iPhone pinged in Queens, cops said.
Bye-cycle
A baddie stole a guy’s bike he had left on Court Street on Aug. 2, police said.
The 34-year-old told cops he had put a lock on his pricey bike, but did not attach it to anything else, near Court Street at about 11:30 pm, and when he returned about five minutes later, it was gone, according to authorities.
