Bottle bash

Two cretins smashed a bottle over a man’s head on W. 23rd Street on June 8.

The victim told police that he was walking between Mermaid and Surf avenues at 10:30 am when he stumbled into two men. The trio argued and the scuffle turned violent when the goons started punching and slapping the man in the head and the chest, according to a police report.

One brute grabbed a bottle off the street and smashed it over the man’s head before the dastardly duo fled the scene, officials said.

Careless cad

Cops cuffed a man who they say punched a woman in the face on W. 33rd Street on June 3.

The woman was walking between Mermaid and Surf avenues at 3:30 pm when the man suddenly slugged her in the mouth, according to a police report. The blow caused swelling to the left side of the woman’s face, officials said.

Police nabbed the man after the woman recognized him as a regular at her local pharmacy and arrested him based on an existing complaint, authorities said.

Pull over

Police arrested a man who went bananas after police pulled his car over on W. 23rd Street on June 10.

Officers spotted the black Audi near Mermaid Avenue at 2 pm and noticed it was missing licence plates, authorities said. But after the driver pulled over, he darted out of the car, yelling at police and ignoring multiple commands to stop, officials said.

The man has nearly 30 prior arrests, including 11 drug-related charges, according to a police report.

Brutal bandit

A baddie busted into a woman’s W. 15th Street home on June 11 and tossed the place.

The prowler grabbed a fire extinguisher and smashed the lock on the apartment between Hart Place and Neptune Avenue at noon, according to a police report. The marauder trashed the apartment, and grabbed a diamond ring and bracelet before fleeing the scene, said police.
