It was a brutal way to start Thanksgiving.
A woman’s date kidnapped her, beat her, and kept her tied to a chair overnight on Nov. 26 and 27, police said.
The victim’s friend hooked her up with the weirdo via Facebook, and the two met for drinks before heading back to the man’s apartment on Nov. 26 police said. Law enforcement officials did not release the locations of the bar or apartment.
Back at the pad, the man made sexual overtures, but the woman refused, so the creep beat her and tied her to a chair, police said. He also sliced the victim’s arm with a knife, officials said.
The woman freed herself Thanksgiving morning after her captor passed out drunk, a police report states.
The victim reported the crime on Nov. 28 after her arm became infected and she checked herself into Coney Island Hospital, law enforcement sources said.
Police have not made any arrests, and the investigation is ongoing, official said.
