If you have yet
to discover DUMBO, the neighborhood Down Under the Manhattan
Bridge Overpass, or even if you think you are already well acquainted
with the burgeoning burg, don’t miss this weekend’s DUMBO Art
Under the Bridge Festival.
Spanning Oct. 17-19, the arts festival includes a wide variety
of art exhibitions, including a last chance to see the "Landslide"
show at Smack Mellon Gallery at 56 Water St., which features
the plaster catapulting installation by Bill Schuck titled "Surge"
(pictured).
The fest will also feature artist talks, open studio tours, a
short film and video festival, a country music stage hosted by
Little Red Hen at Main Street between Front and Water streets,
parties and a dance performance.
