October 27, 2021, 6:30 pm8:30 pm.

350Brooklyn and Brooklyn Public Library present a special two-hour workshop to offer tools for
supporting our spirits as we acknowledge and confront climate anxiety. We’ll follow practices from
Joanna Macy and Chris Johnstone’s Active Hope: How to Face the Mess We’re in Without Going
Crazy: telling stories, exploring new sources of personal and collective power, and sharing ideas for
turning hope into action. Tom Roderick and Marieke van Woerkom, both national leaders in the field
of social and emotional learning, will lead this participatory workshop.
