Injustice in the Justice System: AI
Join the Justice Education Project and Encode Justice on Saturday, July 30th from 1 to 4 pm ET to learn about implicit biases in artificial intelligence as they affect criminal justice and spur engaging discussions about the intersection of artificial intelligence and criminal justice. This is a hybrid event, so people are welcome to join over Zoom.
We will be hosting a panel of experts, professors, and activists, including Raesetje Sefala, an AI Research Fellow at the Distributed AI Research (DAIR) institute, Dr. Chhavi Chauhan, leader of the Women in AI Ethics Collective, Dillon Reisman, Skadden Fellow at ACLU New Jersey and lawyer specializing in Technology and Civil Rights, as well as Albert Fox Cahn, founder and executive director of Surveillance Technology Oversight Project (S.T.O.P.).
