The flame of family fun burned brightly along East 21st Street – between Regent Place and Albemarle Road – where mom, dad and the kids teamed up with neighbors for a block party.
Festivities transformed the stretch into an outdoor spectacle of seasonal sights, sounds and smells as frolickers rose to the annual occasion with a program of special attractions and amusements.
While grown−ups pooled their culinary talents and grilled up delights on the barbecue, youngsters enjoyed their own homespun brand of simple pleasures along the cordoned−off block.
