Fillmore Ave: all the ingredients for fun

Festive frolickers soaked in equal parts sunshine and community spirit during a block party in Marine Park.

The neighborhood bustled with fun-filled frolics as mom, dad and the kids rose to the outdoor extravaganza along Fillmore Avenue, between East 36th and East 37th streets.

While older merrymakers worked on their suntans and cooked up grilled goodies on the barbie, carefree youngsters romped on the traffic-free stretch.
