After months of anticipation, the most talked about new subway entrance in Brooklyn is finally open to the public.

Naturally, the crack reporters in the Brooklyn Paper’s Subway Opening Openings Bureau have already tested out the spacious access point to the Jay Street MetroTech R-train platform — conveniently located inside the luxury Ava Dobro high-rise Downtown — and they report back that it is so fancy, the elevator doesn’t even smell of urine.
