Happy meals
Indulge in the most healthy food combination possible: whiskey and fried foods! The mixology wizards at the Whiskey Fried Classic in Greenpoint have not actually figured out how to deep-fry whiskey (yet!), but they have stuffed it into donuts (pictured), swirled it into ice cream, and will serve up 22 varieties of the delightful brown liquor in cocktails you can sip while chowing down on fried Southern and barbecued foods.

Triple threat
The charming animated French comedy “The Triplets of Bellville” is almost wordless, with its meaning conveyed through pantomime and a swinging score of jazz tunes. Tonight’s screening, part of the Bric Celebrate Brooklyn! Festival gives a boost to the music, performed live by the film’s composer, Benoît Charest, and his nine-piece Orchestre Terrible de Belleville band, along with singer Jessica Fichot,
