Catch the new comedy “Family,” about a 12-year-old girl who runs away to become a Juggalo. The band Insane Clown Posse will perform after the screening, so this is either a show you definitely want to see, or one for which you should avoid the entire neighborhood. Whoop whoop!

Jazz with bite

Swing, jazz, and blues outfit the Blue Vipers of Brooklyn will play its unique blend of retro New Orleans-inspired tunes at a free show beneath the Manhattan Bridge this afternoon. Enjoy the tunes, and then check out some of the nearby galleries for the First Thursday Dumbo Art Walk.
