Watch the 72nd Annual Tony Awards at the Bushwick bar Syndicated, where you can join the prediction contest and root for “Spongebob Squarepants: the Musical!,” featuring a book by Brooklynite Kyle Jarrow and songs from Brooklyn’s Jonathan Coulton and They Might Be Giants.

Sunny days: In Dean Haspiel’s graphic novel “The Red Hook,” the main character works as a bartender at Sunny’s Bar. Haspiel will hold a reading and art exhibit at Sunny’s on June 8.

Song December

The Portland indie-folk rock band the Decemberists will bring its songs of shipwrecks, shape-shifters, and post-apocalyptic landscapes to Prospect Park for a ticketed show that will help to subsidize Bric’s free Celebrate Brooklyn! shows. We’re just hoping the band busts out “Ben Franklin’s Song,” its collaboration with Lin-Manuel Miranda.
