Gang robbery
Four lowlifes robbed a man inside an Avenue V building on Feb. 28.
The victim said he was near Stillwell Avenue at 5:10 pm when a man threatened him with a gun and forced to walk into the building and up to the fourth floor. Once up there, they were joined by three others, according to a police report. One of the thieves pointed a gun to the victim’s chest, another put him into a chokehold, and two others emptied his pockets and took headphones and a cellphone, cops said. They then fled the building, according to the report.
Jumped and robbed
Three miscreants beat up and robbed a man on W. 12th Street on March 3.
The man told police he was near Avenue X at 6:25 pm when three men and a woman pushed him to the ground and then kicked him in the face and body, leaving him bruised and bloody. One of them took two iPhones and cash off him, before they all fled towards Stillwell Avenue, cops said.
Police said they did not find the thieves after searching the area. The victim went to Coney Island Hospital for treatment of his injuries, officers said.
Construction site burglary
A good-for-nothing stole materials from a construction site on Bayview Avenue on March 1.
The victim said the thief entered the site near W. 37th Street after 3 pm and took two copper pipes.
Cars running away
Thieves took off in two cars that owners left running in two separate incidents this week:
• A punk stole a woman’s car she left running on Mermaid Avenue on March 3 while she went into a deli.
The victim said she left her car running near W. 32nd Street at 5:30 pm. But when she got returned, her vehicle was gone, according to authorities.
Police found the car later on Bayview Avenue near W. 33rd Street. They say nothing had been taken from the car.
• A jerk stole a man’s car that he left running on Brighton Beach Avenue on March 4 while delivering papers.
The victim said he left the vehicle near Brighton Fourth Street at 8:15 am, and when he returned, it was gone.
Police said they are trying to track the car’s license plate.
