State Senator Marty Golden’s district office will provide free basic tax preparation service, as part of the Internal Revenue Service Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program for the 12th consecutive tax season.
Appointments are available beginning February 5 and ending April 11, on Thursdays from 6-9 p.m., and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The program is available only to residents of Golden’s district who earn less than $42,000. No out of state returns can be filed through this program.
