Members of the U.S. Armed Forces and their families were feted during Fort Hamilton’s annual “Fort Hamilton Community Day Picnic,” coordinated by Cathy Santotietro, community relations officer for the Fort andMaria Mahler, vice president of the Rotary Club of Brooklyn.
The sun shone brightly as members of the Rotarydoled out refreshing Italian ices to the kids; they also donated rides for children to enjoy at the fair.
