The G−Train salon, an inspiring, mixed−media installation by new emerging artists, will make “a stop” at bookstore WORD, 126 Franklin Street in Greenpoint, from 7−9 p.m., July 23 for “Summer Reading,” produced by Hit Factorie in collaboration from the G−Train salon.
For “Summer Reading,” Hit Factorie produced a visual ode to summer literature for the month of July, this time using the book created to decorate several mannequins. The crew will discuss their process, and create an inspired “Hit−Object” in collaboration with the audience.
On view in the window of WORD, “Summer Reading” has drawn the attention of book lovers, art enthusiasts and passers−by alike, since it debuted in late June.
