Two garbage haulers beat up a guy after they got into an argument with him on Henry Street on Oct. 1.
The victim was crossing Henry Street near Atlantic Avenue at 5:55 am when he got into a dispute with the two trash slingers, police said. One of the goons then jumped from the truck and began punching the man while the other brute went to the rear of the truck, grabbed a metal pipe, and struck the victim on the left leg, before both fled, police reported.
Looted
A thief stole electronics and cash from a tenant who was abruptly forced out of his Bergen Street home between Aug. 31 and Sept. 27.
The resident reported to police his landlord had ordered him to immediately move out of his apartment near Nevins Street on Aug. 31, as it was deemed unsafe to live in. But when the property owner told him it was safe to retrieve his belongings almost a month later, he returned to discover that his door had been broken in and his smart television, Apple desktop computer, two watches, $200, and tax returns had been taken, according to a report.
Peer pressure
A pair of punks bashed a fellow teenager and stole his phone as he was walking towards the train station on Schermerhorn Street on Sept. 30.
The boy was making his way to the train near Smith Street at 3:55 pm when two students from his school approached him started punching him in the face. One of the cretins took his iPhone 6 and fled, according to a report.
Puff Daddy plunder
Some sneaks stole jeans and hoodies from a Fulton Street store on Sept. 28.
The two weasels entered the shop near Livingston Street at 2:30 pm, took 15 pairs of Sean John jeans and 15 Nike hoodies and placed them in their bag, police said.
Bound
An argument between two women turned into a bind when one threw a stapler at her opponent’s face inside a Court Street building on Sept. 26.
The two ladies were engaged in a verbal spat near Remsen Street at 2:15 pm when one threw the office device at the victim, cutting her inner mouth, then punched the woman repeatedly in the head, according to a report.
