Scooter swipe
Some jerk jacked an electric scooter from a senior citizen on the 69th Street Pier on May 10.
The 67-year-old victim told cops that he rode his scooter to the esplanade near Shore Road at around noon. He dismounted his ride to gaze at the water for a few minutes, but his scooter was gone by the time he turned around.
Bottle brawl
Some hothead smacked a guy in the face with a bottle during a scuffle at the intersection of Fifth and Ovington avenues on May 13.
The victim told cops that he got mixed up in the brawl around 11:45 pm and was hit by an unknown dude during the chaos.
Major pain
Someone swiped a wallet, phone and painkillers from a car on 82nd Street on May 11.
The victim told cops that she left her ride between Ridge Boulevard and Third Avenue at 12:30 am. She returned an hour later to find her cash, cards, Blackberry and pills missing.
Break-in bad
Someone stole cash and baubles from a 78th Street house on May 14.
The victim told cops that he left his crib, which is between 12th and 13th avenues, at 1:30 pm and returned 12 hours later to find his goods gone.
