The Tribeca Film Festival may be star-studded, but the Red Hook Film Festival’s got free key lime pie.
The annual waterfront film fest, on Oct. 15 and 16, features shorts, experimental films and documentaries by Brooklyn-based filmmakers.
Highlights include the award-winning documentary “Thread,” which focuses on the Pakistani kite flyers of Dyker Heights; and “Undercity,” an inside-look at the uncharted tunnels beneath our borough. The Festival will also celebrate the closing of the Brooklyn Waterfront Artist Coalition’s annual group show, “Tales of Breukelen.”
Come for the movies, stay for the free popcorn — and the free slices of Steve’s Authentic key lime pie.
