While a Maujer Street man slept on March 22, a crook broke into his apartment and snatched his laptop.
The burglar got into the apartment, which is between South First Street and Union Avenue, between 5 am and 10 am, while the victim dozed.

A musician lost his instrument when a crook broke into his car on March 17.
The rocker parked his car on Moore Street between Leonard Street and Manhattan Avenue at around 11:30 pm. When he returned at around 2 pm the next afternoon, the rear passenger window of his car was shattered.
Missing were his orange and brown Fender guitar, his case, and his amp, cops say.
