A 40-year-old man was arrested last week after he was caught swiping one boot from a Fifth Avenue shoe store, police alleged.
Officials said that Alfred Edwards and an unidentified accomplice were in the store near Ninth Street back on December 4 when a worker allegedly saw him sneak the boot into a bag before hot-footing it out of the place.
Cops ultimately caught up with Edwards on December 10, charging him with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
