In a recent issue, your newspaper mistakenly reported allocation of state funds in the 2009 budget.
In fact, State Senator Marty Golden designated $30K and State Assemblywoman Joan Millman designated $5K to the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy (the reverse was reported) to support free public programming in the park, including educational, recreational and cultural activities.
You also failed to mention that State Senator Marty Connor designated $30K to the Brooklyn Bridge Park Conservancy as well. Thank you for correcting these errors.
