Nabbed for burglary

Cops arrested a 21-year-old who they say broke into an E. 89th Street with two other thieves on Oct. 25.

The homeowner between Avenue N and Seaview Avenue said that the three suspects were inside his home at 4 pm when he interrupted the crime.

The thieves pushed the victim aside and scrambled out of the home, but cops were able to get information about the suspect, who was arrested on Nov. 16.

Busted for beating

A 40-year-old man was taken into custody on Nov. 12 after he attacked another man on E. 83rd Street, according to police.

Witnesses told police that the two men were arguing at 4:40 pm when the suspect punched his victim, leaving him with a smattering of injuries.

Wild ride

Police nabbed a 45-year-old who they say got involved in a booze-fueled crash on E. 77th Street on Nov. 13 — the wayward driver’s birthday.

An afternoon of celebrating allegedly led to the suspect slamming his 2000 Chrevolet into the back of a car waiting at a red light at Flatlands Avenue at 6:29 pm. Cops say the birthday boy then sped off, only to be tracked down and arrested by police, who said that the suspect’s blood alcohol content was the same as a 140-pound man having eight drinks.
