Gun-wielding goons
Three crooks snatched a wallet from a victim at gunpoint in broad daylight on Mayfair Drive North on Dec. 12, according to a report.
Police say the thieves ambushed the victim at the corner of Mill Avenue at 2:10 pm. One of the robbers pulled out a black firearm while another grabbed the victim’s wallet. The third thief waited in a yellow car as the getaway driver for the two perps.
Loose screw
A resourceful robber used a screwdriver to break into a house on E. 74th Street on Dec. 14, an officer stated.
Authorities say the man broke into the home near Avenue U at an undisclosed time. Officers say the suspect barged in through the back of the house, then fled in a white vehicle.
