Serial bandit
A marauder with a silver gun held up three victims for their phones and cash in the wee hours last week — and cops say he’s targeting people coming home from a night of drinking.
Police describe the suspect as a man in his 20s, at about 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 and 150 pounds.
“He is opportunistic,” said Deputy Inspector Anthony Tasso, the 88th Precinct’s commanding officer. “Many of these victims are intoxicated so they’re picking off easy prey. I want people to be aware of these patterns so we can stop it.”
• On Dec. 27, the goon robbed a man on Greene Avenue, snatching his iPhone, $60, hat and sunglasses.
The 34-year-old victim told police that he was near St. James Place at 5:17 am when he noticed a shadow and turned around. That’s when the marauder displayed a silver handgun and yelled, “Give me everything. Money, money, money!”
• The next day, he held up a 35-year-old man on Washington Avenue for his iPhone and wallet at 2:15 am.
The victim told cops that he was on his friend’s stoop near Greene Avenue when the rustler brandished a revolver and demanded, “Give me your stuff! Give me your phone, too!”
• Then, on Dec. 28, the thug held up a 28-year-old man for his cellphone on St. James Place.
The victim told police that he was near Lafayette Avenue at 2:40 am when a goon in a blue hoodie ordered, “Give me your money and cellphone!”
The victim handed over his Samsung phone and $5 and the crook fled.
Mobile groan
A sneaky thief snatched a woman’s iPhone as she descended from a bus on Vanderbilt Avenue on Dec. 31.
The 29-year-old victim told cops that she was near Lafayette Avenue at 5 pm when a crook grabbed her from behind and yelled, “Give me your phone!”
After the perp got away, the woman tried to track her missing mobile at Macon Street and Nostrand Avenue with the “Find iPhone” application — but it was never found.
Time out!
Some scoundrel broke into a Time Warner Cable truck on DeKalb Avenue and stole a laptop on Dec. 30.
The 41-year-old driver told cops that he parked near S. Portland Avenue at 12:40 pm. When he returned about 90 minutes later, his driver-side door lock was smashed and his computer was gone.
In the bag
A marauder attacked a woman for her handbag on Irving Place on Dec. 31 — making off with $150, but discarding her purse.
The 28-year-old victim told police that she was in front of her home near Gates Avenue at 4:30 am when the creep shoved her to the ground and yanked her bag.
The woman later found her purse with everything in it — except the cash.
Hear! Hear!
Two bandits — one carrying a gun — robbed a man of his fancy headphones at the Nevins Street subway station on Dec. 30.
The 19-year-old victim told cops that he was leaving the 2 train platform near Flatbush Avenue at 2:55 pm when one of the thieves asked him if he smoked weed.
The victim said no and walked away but the crook ran after him, asking if he jumped his cousin. He demanded, “Lose these headphones or I’ll shoot you!”
As the man handed over his earphones, another perp plucked his phone from his pocket.
“Don’t call the cops, or I will shoot you” the first thief said before the derelict duo fled.
Police are seeking a 19-year-old, 5-foot-8 suspect with an afro and another 5-foot-7 suspect.
Helter shelter
A boarder at the Tillary Street women’s shelter said another woman whacked her with her own crutch on Dec. 29.
The 47-year-old victim told cops that she was at the residence near Prince Street at 9:15 pm when a crazed housemate struck her in the back, chest and ear — causing it to bleed.
Police arrested a 32-year-old.
Food fight
Cops say a bad friend hit a woman over the head with a bottle at the Crown Fried Chicken on Fulton Street on Dec. 29.
The 50-year-old victim told police that she was at the fast-food joint near Washington Avenue at 11:30 am. That’s when her pal allegedly whacked her in the head — sending her to Brooklyn Hospital.
Police are seeking a 5-foot-5, 200-pound suspect nicknamed Niecy.
Stranger danger
A conniving duo stole $470 and baubles from a woman’s home after picking her up on Atlantic Avenue and taking her for a ride on Dec. 27.
The 25-year-old victim told police that she was near Flatbush Avenue at 2:30 pm when a strange woman asked for directions. The woman walked her to a car with a male driver who demanded, “Get in the car and look happy!”
The thieves took the woman to her home on 81st Street, used her bathroom, and one then barked, “Get your stuff.”
They took her cash, a crystal butterfly and a $400 charm and drove her back to Flatbush and Fourth avenues.
Cut no ice
A fiend with a box-cutter attacked a man on S. Elliott Place on Dec. 26 — but the would-be victim fought back.
The 23-year-old man told cops that he was near Atlantic Avenue at 3:20 pm when the robber threw him to the ground and said, “I’m going to rob you. I’m going to take everything you got.”
The crook tried to reach into the man’s pants pocket but he ran away.
