Robbed at gunpoint

Two ruffians robbed a 64-year-old man at gunpoint on Voorhies Avenue on Aug. 8.

The victim told police the pair approached him just before 1 am near Coyle Street and one yelled “Give me your wallet and don’t look at us.”

Police said the crooks took off in a car with the man’s credit cards, debit card, driver’s licence and cellphone.

Beaten for nothing

Two beasts threatened to rob a 13-year-old boy on Avenue W on Aug. 5, but instead beat him up and took nothing.

Police reported that the two men walked up to the boy near E. 23rd Street at 7:30 pm and asked “What do you have in your pockets?” But instead of taking his stuff, the men punched him multiple times and left, said police.

The boy was left with a bruised face, authorities said.

Stick up artist

An unidentified fiend robbed a 72-year-old man on Quentin Road on Aug. 7.

The victim told police that a man, about 25 years of age, walked up to him with a dark object at 3:40 am near E. 10th Street and said “Stick ’em up.” The older man handed over a bag and the mugger ran off northbound on E. 10th Street, said police.
