Shot on E. 51st Street
Two trigger-happy gunmen opened fire on an 18-year-old on E. 51st Street on Oct. 18 — sending the teen to the hospital.
The victim was nearing Avenue M just after midnight when he was shot in the hip. Doctors treated his wounds at Brookdale Hospital.
Three on one
Police arrested three thieves who they say robbed a 21-year-old on E. 51st Street on Oct. 18.
The victim was approaching Avenue N at 7:25 pm when the suspects approached, flashed their weapon, and robbed the man of his cellphone, cash and credit cards.
But they didn’t get far — cops rounded up and arrested the suspects a short time later.
Spare the rod
A 37-year-old woman attacked her 17-year-old daughter with a shower rod during an argument in their Avenue H apartment on Oct. 18.
The assault, which took place near Flatbush Avenue, took place during a 5 pm argument. The teen suffered marks to her arms as a result, police were told.
Door kicker
A thief kicked in the door to an E. 73rd Street home on Oct. 17, taking an assortment of jewelry found inside.
The 62-year-old victim, who lives near Avenue U, said that the break-in took place at 3 am.
Rear window
A crook snuck into an E. 46th Street home in Flatlands on Oct. 21, taking $50 and an assortment of jewelry.
The goon wiggled through a rear window — damaging the screen in the process — sometime after 1 am, the 71-year-old homeowner near Troy Avenue told police.
Car plunder
A thief broke into a van parked on Troy Avenue on Oct. 20, taking an assortment of expensive batteries.
The vehicle was in a fenced in lot near Flatlands Avenue when it the thief pocked the lock sometime after 7 pm.
Rear entry
A thief forced open a rear window to an Avenue I home on Oct. 23 — stealing an assortment of electronics.
The crook raided the home, located near Flatbush Avenue, sometime after 4 pm, the homeowner said.
Tire swipe
Thieves snagged four tires and rims from a 2008 Infiniti parked on E. 53rd Street on Oct. 20.
The theft occurred sometime after the owner of the car parked it on Avenue N at 3 am. The owner discovered it when he was leaving later that morning.
