Shoe scuffle
Cops say a gun-wielding man robbed a shoe store on Ralph Avenue on Nov. 23.
Authorities say the suspect entered the store on Avenue K at 7 pm. The cold-hearted crook asked an employee for help selecting shoes — but when the victim proceeded to help him, he whipped out a black firearm. The thief stole the employee’s jewelry and an undetermined amount of money.
Police say the crook fled in an unknown direction.
Drunk driving
Cops cuffed a man who they say was driving while intoxicated on Mill Avenue on Nov. 20.
The suspect didn’t use a turn signal while turning left on Avenue U at 2:30 am, which prompted police to pull him over.
The officers said that when they approached the driver, they realized he reeked of alcohol and had bloodshot eyes.
Painful package
Two ruthless robbers stole credit cards from a delivery driver on E. 52nd Street on Nov. 21, according to authorities.
The delivery driver told cops he was near Avenue S at 1:15 pm when the gun-wielding goons stole the credit cards. The thugs fled in an unknown direction, according to a report.
Thirsty thief
Police say a ludicrous lush stole a beer and a television from a man’s home on E. 49th Street on Nov. 21.
The man said he locked all the doors and windows at his place between Avenues J and K — but officers said when he came home at 5 pm, he saw that his basement window was open and his television was missing.
Upon further examination of his home, cops said the victim also realized a beer was missing from his refrigerator.
Car crook
Authorities say an opportunistic thief stole shopping bags from a car parked on Ralph Avenue on Nov. 21.
The owner left the vehicle sitting near Avenue K at 6 pm to go shopping, and returned to find the car’s passenger-side window smashed and the bags gone from the vehicle.
