Police have released photos of the suspect they believe robbed a Fifth Avenue deli at gunpoint on April 19.
The thief walked into a bodega between 72nd and 73rd Streets in Bay Ridge at 8:15 am, whipped out a pistol, walked behind the counter, and told the clerk to empty the register, police said. The employee complied, and the bandit made off with $300, a police report states.
The robber was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, light jeans, and white sneakers, police said.
