A gunman fatally shot a man in Ditmas Park on Saturday evening, according to a police report.
Police and paramedics responded to a 911 call about a man shot on Church Avenue between Saint Paul’s Place and Ocean Avenue at around 5:40 pm on Sept. 19, where they found 36-year-old Canarsie resident Julio Yasser suffering a gunshot wound to the torso, police said.
Emergency services took Yasser to Kings County Hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.
Police have released footage of a guy who they believe may have been involved in the shooting, who they say was last seen sporting facial hair, glasses, a dark colored hat, a gray vest, a white shirt, and gray slacks.
Yasser is one of four men who was fatally shot in Brooklyn on the weekend — a gunman also shot three men dead Downtown on Sunday.
