A 27-year-old man was arrested for allegedly chucking a glass bottle at another man on Avenue U on April 17.

The victim told police that he was between E. 16th and E. 17th streets at 5:29 am when the suspect threw the bottle, which struck him in the head.

Knife to meet you

Cops arrested a 41-year-old man who they said threatened another man with a knife on Avenue X on April 16.

The victim told police that he was between E. First and E. Second streets at 3:20 pm when the thug approached and held the knife to his throat.

Car crazy

A 23-year-old man was arrested for pilfering cars parked along E 23rd Street on April 16, according to police.

The victim told police that he was between Avenues R and X shortly after 2 am when he saw the crook pulling on the handles of car doors and entering the vehicles he was able to gain access to. The victim said he saw the suspect enter his 2011 Nissan Rogue. He confronted the suspect, a struggle ensued, and the suspect dropped two phone chargers from his pocket.

Bad cop

Cops arrested a 58-year-old man who they said posed as a police officer and threatened another man on Gerritsen Avenue on April 13.

The victim told police that he was between Avenue U and Knapp Street at 2:10 pm when he was confronted by the suspect, who told him he was a police lieutenant and put his hands on his pocket as if he were carrying a gun.
