Hate hits Ave. J
An anti-Semitic goon struck fear into the hearts of Jews throughout Midwood on Nov. 16 when he left offensive graffiti at the Avenue J train station.
Straphangers told police that someone spray painted the letters “EW” on the Avenue J sign on the platform near E. 16th Street in the early morning hours so it read “Avenue Jew.”
The graffiti appeared less than a week after three cars were torched on Ocean Parkway near Avenue I. Anti-Semitic slurs were also found on the cars, police said.
Killed by train
An unidentified man was killed on Nov. 19 after he fell in front of a 5 train rumbling into the Nostrand Avenue station.
Cops and paramedics raced to the station, located near Newkirk Avenue, at 7:33 am, but the victim died at the scene.
An NYPD spokesman said that no foul play is expected in the man’s death.
Beaten to death
A group of thugs pummeled two young men on E. 94th Street in East Flatbush on Nov. 13 — killing one of them.
The victims were walking between Winthrop Street and Clarkson Avenue at 3:25 pm when the unidentified suspects attacked, leaving their 21-year-old victim with serious injuries that he died from later. The goons also attacked a 15-year-old, who survived in incident with minor injuries.
NYPD booze
Cops say an off-duty NYPD detective was arrested on Nov. 18 when he was caught drunk driving through nearby Borough Park.
Police found the 31-year-old investigator on Dahill Road near Minna Street at 5 am, asleep behind the wheel of his parked car.
