Wheelchair wrongdoing

Two heartless ruffians tied a 75-year-old woman to her wheelchair in her Avenue W apartment on July 16 and forced their way into her apartment and stole her pension check.

The victim told the cops the brutes pushed their way into her apartment near Batchelder Street at around 6 pm and used duct tape to affix her to the wheelchair, cops said.

The fiends made off with the $586 pension check, as well as a credit card, identification cars, and jewelry, said officials.

Pay day

A burglar stole $130,000 from an E. 28th Street woman’s drawers while she was on vacation in the Poconos, officials reported.

The victim told police she returned to her house near Avenue W on July 10 at 2 pm and noticed the cash missing from her bedroom drawer, a police source said. The only possible point of entry is a bedroom window that was closed, but not locked, said police.

Rolex ransacking

Three watches, including a Rolex, were stolen from a Batchelder Street house on July 16, said cops.

Police reported that the victim arrived at his home near Avenue Y at 5:30 pm to find his front window and door open. He told police that his bedroom had been ransacked and that the watches, which also included a Fossil, were missing, along with $13 and some jewelry, the cops said.

A witness observed three men exit a black sedan with a white passenger door and enter the home, officials said.

Intruder incident

Police arrested two men and are searching for a third who they said broke into an Avenue Z apartment, stole a car and television, and hit the victim in the head with a gun on July 16.

The victim told cops he entered his home near Brown Street at 4:45 pm and found three intruders inside, police said. The unapprehended suspect hit the victim with the firearm, while the other two allegedly removed the television and took off with the car, said officials.

The vehicle and television were recovered, according to police.

Park peril

An ogre took a 12-year-old boy’s bicycle and threatened to shoot him on Avenue V on July 13, said authorities.

The boy’s mother told police that her son was riding his bike near E. 22nd Street just after 4 am when the unknown man told him to get off the bike and made the vile threat, police said. The perpetrator took off with the bike after the boy gave it up, according to a police report.

Chokehold culprit

Cops cuffed a man who they said attacked a stranger and stole his smartphone on E. 12th Street on July 12, said police.

The victim was near Avenue P just before 10 am when the suspect came up from behind, put him in a chokehold, and punched him, according to officials.

The accused allegedly put his hand in the victim’s pocket and took the man’s iPhone 6 before fleeing in a white Dodge van, police said. The victim told police he was there waiting for his wife.
