Summer revelers were in “Seventh Heaven” as Park Slope’s annual frolic of community friendship and spirit transformed the neighborhood into an outdoor emporium of seasonal fun.
Visitors flocked to 7th Avenue, where a sea of amusements, attractions and activities reigned supreme from 16th Street to Flatbush Avenue; among them, vendor booths, sidewalk cafes and informational stalls manned by community groups, plus rides for the young and the young-at-heart.
Proceeds from the street spectacle – sponsored by the Park Slope Chamber of Commerce – will be used to plant trees, litter baskets, improve the shopping strip, plus illuminate the avenue for the holiday season.
