The Mexican Consulate chugged through Bushwick giving hundreds of Mexican citizens new passports, renovating their existing passports, and distributing counsular IDs to residents who stopped by hosted by Make the Road New York’s Bushwick headquarters (301 Grove Street) last week.
The Consulate’s mobile unit has been traveling around the United States to communities with heavily concentrated populations of Mexican, most recently paying visits to Green Bay, WI, and Ashbury Park, NJ, where they distributed the IDs.
