Hockey always stays in the blood

They dangled for their dearly departed.

Childhood pals strapped on their lids and charged the blue line in memory of a deceased loved one during a memorial hockey game and fundraiser at the playground on Avenue F and McDonald Avenue.

Rink gladiators from Avenue F Hockey laced their skates and took to the concrete empire during the crowd-pleasing revel to commemorate their late friend, Anthony “Inky” Incarbone, who passed away earlier this year from cancer.

The crew had “a total blast” raising more than $500 for Incarbone’s family, and made good on one of Inky’s final wishes %u2013 “for all his friends from Brooklyn to celebrate his life, not his death,” said friend Randy Reis on his blog post.
