Return Restoration

Dear Mr. Molina: I would like to thank you for the wonderful work that you and your workers did in our apartment. The restored woodwork is stunning and contributes greatly to the beauty of this wonderful historic apartment. Thank You also for your assistance in planning the project. Your many years of experience was very valuable and helped us proceed with confidence.

Dear David Molina I wanted to congratulate you and your team on the great job you did restoring our Apartment at 285 Central Part West. Please feel free to use this letter and my name as a reference as you propose your services for other clients. Given that our apartment had not been touched in 60 years we were initially concerned about what could be done to restore the apartment to its original condition. The quality of your work through the wood stripping, skim coating and painting phases was terrific. The restoration of the original walls, base mahogany door to a “brand new” appearance gives this apartment a beautiful traditional look that we will treasure throughout the years. Additionally, I want to thank you and your team for the hard work and extra hours that enabled us to meet our February move- in date. The work ethic that you displayed is rarely seen in contractors today. We are very fortunate to have you involved in this project. We are extremely pleased and we would be happy to serve as a reference for future projects and prospective clients.

To Whom It May Concern, The building where I live is an old one, built before World War I with the high ceilings and detail typical of that period. Door and windows are trimmed with oak woodwork and the dining room is fully paneled and finished off with a rather ornate plate shelf. Over the decades, the wood trim was painted over–a uniform, dull white–and many coats built up. The dining room paneling became dark and dirty. Soot sank into the old varnish which beaded up into an ugly surface. The veneer had cracked and split in several places. David Molina and his crew reversed this decay and left the whole apartment looking warm and fresh. They stripped the paint and old varnish and repaired or replaced the cracked panels. The whole has been overlain with golden oak stain which brings light and color into the rooms in a very dramatic way. The grain was brought out in wood. Their work is based on sensitivity to the wood and period décor. They make real effort to bring back the original beauty of the rooms. The work was done smoothly and efficiently, to cause me and my cat the least inconvenience during what must be a very messy job. But the crew came on time and did everything that they contracted for without fuss even though they had to interact in a rather complex way with another crew who were working on plaster and floors. Due to David’s care and conscientiousness, the whole experience was a pleasant one and I left with an apartment which looks as beautiful as the day it was built.
