Shorefront Toys for Tots and Taconic Investment Partners joined forces to put smiles on the faces of children at Coney Island Hospital, as Toys for Tots Founder & President Brian L. Gotlieb and Taconic Investment Partners’ Chris Balestra distributed gifts to children in the hospital’s Pediatric Department.
In addition to the gifts given to inpatients, gifts were left for pediatric outpatients to select after they visited their primary care doctor during the holiday season.
Shorefront Toys for Tots, created in 1995 by Gotlieb in honor of his late mother, Myrna Helene Gotlieb, has thus far reached out to more than 25,000 children in the Bensonhurst, Brighton Beach, Coney Island, Gravesend, and Sheepshead Bay communities.
Coney Island Hospital is located at 2601 Ocean Parkway at the corner of Avenue Z.
