This year marks the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson’s arrival in New York Harbor, which led to the establishment of what would become New York City. Lefferts Historic House in Prospect Park is dedicating its 18th Annual Quilt Exhibit to the quadric-centennial of Hudson’s voyage.
Sunday, November 15 meet the quilters participating in the exhibit at a free public reception starting at 2 p.m. at the Lefferts Historic House.
Also, every Saturday and Sunday in November, beginning November 7, there will be a free quilting workshop at the Lefferts Historic House from 1:30-3:30 p.m.
Also beginning November 7, throughout November, the exhibit will be shown at the Lefferts Historic House.In December the exhibit moves to the Prospect Park Audubon Center.
Lefferts and Audubon are open Thursday through Sunday, 12-5 p.m.Admission is free.
