TV host Jay Leno is donating his customized Star V-Max motorcycle for an Oct. 10 auction to benefit Bailey’s Cafe community center, 196 Albany Avenue.
Leno has been a longtime friend of the program’s founder, Stephanie Siegel; the two met when they were college students in Boston.
The bike is expected to be auctioned at the Barrett-Jackson car auction at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. Pre-auction estimates for the bike are in the range of $100,000. Buyers can also bid online, at www.barrett-jackson.com.
The former host of “The Tonight Show” said Bailey’s Cafe “is a wonderful arts program,” according to a report.
