Three times
A shady character walked into two houses on N. Fourth Street and one on Roebling Street in a half-hour period on Jan. 10 — scaring and annoying the residents.
The residents told police that the man, who appeared to be about 20 years old, first walked into an apartment between Bedford and Driggs avenues at 2 pm. When he saw the woman in the apartment, he left.
Witnesses said he then walked into a another man’s apartment in the same building, but left when he saw that someone was home. The man then walked into an aparment on Roebling Street between N. Eighth and N. Ninth streets. When the tenant came out of the bedroom, he said “I was going to meet my friend here,” and then left, cops said.
All three of the residents told police that their doors were unlocked.
Bottle serviced
A 51-year-old woman was arrested after she cracked her friend in the head with a bottle on Jackson Street on Jan. 7.
The 34-year-old victim told police that she was arguing with her friend between Leonard Street and Manhattan Avenue at 1:35 am when the older woman hit her over the head. The younger woman suffered a cut on the head and the older woman was charged with assault.
A battery of charges
Three men were arrested for possession of 50 bags of heroin after police responded to an alleged fight between a man and his girlfriend on Jackson Street on Dec. 26.
A 16-year-old girl called police to a house between Debevoise and Kingsland avenues at midnight, saying her much-older boyfriend had punched her, according to cops.
When police tried to arrest the man, two of his friends tried to intervene. But police searched them and found the baggies, officials reported. The boyfriend was charged with rape, and the other two were charged with obstruction of justice, and all three were charged with drug possession.
On the loose
A goon sexually assaulted a woman and tried to steal her phone as she was leaving the Lorimer Street L train station on Jan. 13.
The woman told police that she on the stairway to the intersection of Lorimer Street and Metropolitan Avenue at 2:35 am when the creep grabbed her buttocks and then tried to touch her vagina.
She fought the man off and fell to the ground, and he then snatched her cellphone, which she managed to grab back. The man ran away and the woman suffered a swollen knee and numerous cuts and bruises.
Mightier than the sword
An argument over some pens on Bedford Avenue on Jan. 10 turned vicious when one combatant decided to use one of them as a weapon.
A 15-year-old student told police that he was arguing with a 15-year-old classmate about pens at a school between N. 12th and Lorimer streets at 12:50 pm when he decided to punch the classmate.
The two students fell on the ground and the student punched his classmate several more times. The classmate then retaliated by stabbing the student with a pen, causing a two-inch deep gash, according to police. The classmate was charged with assault, but the student was not arrested.
Opportunistic burglar
A bandit broke into a woman’s N. Ninth Street apartment on Jan. 2 and stole a MacBook Air and camera.
The woman told police that she came home to her apartment between Roebling Street and Driggs Avenue at 11 am and found the electronics, plus credit cards and jewelry, were gone. Police found no signs of forced entry.
Purse punk
Police arrested a man who they say tried to grab a woman’s purse on Graham Avenue on Jan. 6 — but was thwarted.
The victim told police she was leaving L train station near Metropolitan Avenue at 5:50 am when a 20-year-old man tried to grab the purse she was holding under her arm.
She chased him out of the station, where a cop spotted them and chased the suspect. He was charged with attempted grand larceny.
