The tongues are wagging about this new place in town. It’s the cat’s meow and it’s only for dogs. Man’s best friend now has a place to call its own. The Wag Club is a luxury spa and day care for Fido and Fifi to while away the hours while you toil away the day. The luxury boutique provides all the amenities you might find behind that luxurious red door in Manhattan, but it’s right here in our own back yard: overnight boarding, training, a state-of-the-art air purification system, rubber flooring that’s gentle on those manicured paws, filtered water, all-natural treats and even Fido photography. Just imagine deep healing breaths of the purest of air, a snack of Kobe tartar, washed down with a bowl of crystal clear filtered H2O and paparazzi waiting to snap a front cover shot for that wag mag, “Dog Fancy” — canine nirvana for sure. The pièce de résistance is that Wag’s is right across the street from the Brooklyn Bridge Park’s dog run at Pier 6. So after a day of stress free snoozing, schmoozing, and barking your pampered pooch enjoys a nice long run to stretch those hind quarters and view the iconic New York skyline. Sounds like doggie heaven to Standing O.
