It’s Chinese Folk Art Fridays

Puppetry In Practice invites the young and young at heart to Chinese Folk Art Fridays, every Friday from July 10−August 28.

People of all ages will be amazed by the art of Xun Ye, one of the last remaining master flour dough artists. Each Friday this summer, Xun will teach an adaptation of this ancient Chinese art form, taught with easy to find modern materials.

Each workshop, participants will develop their artistic skills creating a variety of flowers and animals to show off. These workshops are great for all ages and abilities.

Sessions will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. for kids and 1−3 p.m. for adults at the Puppetry In Practice Museum, 3131 Nostrand Avenue between Quentin Road and Avenue R.

The cost is $15 per child and $20 per adult for each two−hour session. Advance registration is required.
