Brooklyn Social Presents One Mint Julep, every Tuesday from 9 p.m. ’til late, featuring DJ Becky Birmingham playing treasures from the vinyl archives, including soul, rockabilly, ska, and beyond, while Master of Ceremonies Ivan Martin provides customized cocktails. There is no cover.
DJ Becky has previously engineered impromptu dance throwdowns at Southpaw, Texas Firehouse, and multiple house parties in all five boroughs. She can also be heard on WNYU’s Honky Tonk Radio Girl, Thursdays from 8−9 p.m. on WNYU 89.1 FM and wnyu.org.
