St. Nicholas Day at the Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum is December 6 from 12-4 p.m. The day begins with warm cider, speculas ginger cookies, family crafts and a house tour with senior docent, Lucie Chin.
At 1 p.m., learn and enjoy traditional Colonial holiday music with Colonial musician, Linda Russell. Learn a traditional song to welcome St. Nicholas and Black Piet as they arrive on horseback at 2 p.m.
As children feed carrots to the horses, St. Nicholas and Black Piet will have children write their names in the naughty and nice list. After, they will tell stories of holidays past.
Admission is free. The Wyckoff Farmhouse Museum is located at 5816 Clarendon Road, in M. Fidler-Wyckoff House Park.
