The 25-year-old mariner said he was standing in full uniform in front of the Navy recruitment office between Lafayette Avenue and Fulton Street at 12:45 pm when the scoundrel hurled the vessel at him. The missile-thrower missed, according to the authorities.
Comes in cycles
A punk pushed a guy off his bike and stole his phone on May 26 in Fort Greene, law enforcement officials said.
The 25-year-old victim told cops he was riding near the intersection of Vanderbilt and Park avenues at 4:40 am when the goon rushed out of nowhere and knocked him down. The lowlife grabbed his mobile device and fled on foot, cops said.
Sibling rivalry
Cops arrested a 17-year-old who they say stole a cellphone from another teen who was walking with his sibling on Cumberland Street on May 29.
The 13-year-old victim said he and his brother were walking between Lafayette and DeKalb avenues at 4:15 pm, when the crook came up to them.
“Hand over the phone — you have your little brother with you,” the elder teen said, according to a police report.
The tween handed over the phone and the teen bully tried to take off but was caught by cops, the report says.
Three-on-one
Police arrested a 21-year-old after he and a female partner allegedly robbed a man at knife point in Fort Greene on May 29 at 5:35 pm.
The 30-year-old victim reported he was walking near the intersection of Waverly and Park avenues when the accused and his supposed accomplice approached him. The suspect punched him in the face and whipped out a knife, according to a police report. The lady stole his backpack while her man-friend tried to cut him, the report says. Cops found the bag when they picked up the guy at 7 pm, officers stated.
Number puncher
A villain punched a woman in the face and stole her laptop while she was burning the midnight oil outside a Cumberland Street apartment building on May 30, cops reported.
The victim said she was working on her laptop at 12:40 am in front of her pad between DeKalb and Lafayette avenues when the scalawag walked over, clocked her, snatched the gadget, and ran.
Cell thrown
A goon beat a guy up and threw his cellphone at him on May 27 on Emerson Place, police stated.
The 40-year-old victim said he was talking on his phone at 12:50 am on Emerson between Myrtle and Willoughby avenues, when the punk approached and started striking him in the face and ribs. The fellow dropped his phone, and the agitated assailant launched it at him, police said.
Skirt locker
A prowler broke into a woman’s Lexington Avenue apartment on May 26 and stole a skirt, officers said.
The 30-year-old victim said the burglar busted into her pad between Classon and Grand avenues at 1:22 pm. The creep snagged a skirt and some cash, then scrammed, cops said.
Bike bandits
Two bikes were taken in Fort Greene this week, according to the authorities.
A 43-year-old told officers a bandit sliced open his window screen and removed a bike from his Adelphi Street apartment on May 31. He said he came home to the building between Lafayette and Greene avenues at 3:50 pm, and noticed the screen cut and his steed gone.
A 47-year-old said a lowlife snatched his two-wheeler from Lafayette Avenue between Fort Greene and S. Elliott places. He discovered the bike gone on May 26 at 5:58 pm, cops said.
Cash dash
A cretin broke into a guy’s company car on May 30 and stole a laptop bag that contained $8,000, cops related.
The employee was refilling bank machines and left the car parked on Classon between Putnam and Gates avenues at 10:40 pm, according to a report. When he returned, the passenger-side window had been smashed and the cash removed, cops said.
